Rebecca Nthenya wird seit 2006 von anamed unterstützt. Sie ist die Projektmanagerin von Anamed Kenya East.
Mit dem Geld der verkauften kreativen Arbeiten hier werden „Bausteine“ dort realisiert, und zwar mit den vor Ort, also in Kenia, vorhandenen Mitteln.
Rebeccas Ziel ist, viele Menschen in Kaumoni auszubilden, ihnen eine Lebensgrundlage zu bieten, deren Selbständigkeit zu ermöglichen und die Nachhaltigkeit des Projekts.

Who We Are
Anamed Kenya is a branch of Anamed International, dedicated to promoting natural medicine through hands-on seminars and training sessions across Kenya. Thanks to widespread seminars, the distribution of Artemisia starter kits, and the dedication of our team and partners, countless individuals and families across Kenya are now experiencing significantly better health outcomes.
Our Impact
- Malaria: Treated effectively using Artemisia annua tea.
- Diarrhoea: Managed with anti-amoeba herbal teas.
- HIV/AIDS: Patients benefit from Artemisia tea and Moringa leaf powder as immune-boosting supplements.
Seminar Objectives
Our core goal is to promote the use of natural medicine, particularly in Eastern Kenya, while welcoming participants from all over the country.

MUSIC CENTRE
Youth Empowerment Through Music:
Anamed Music Centre aims to be a dynamic music centre dedicated to empowering young people through creative expression, skill development, and community engagement. Located in Kaumoni, Machakos County. This centre will provide a safe, inclusive space where mostly the youth and any other person can access music education, mentorship, and performance opportunities regardless of their background or income level. -> Foster self-expression, confidence, and creativity through music.
Target Audience: Youth with special outreach to:
- Economically disadvantaged individuals.
- Youth at risk of social isolation or involvement in crime.
- Aspiring musicians lacking access to formal training.
Partnerships:
- Local schools, churches, youth organizations, and cultural centres
- Professional musicians and music educators
- NGOs and government youth services.
- Sponsors from music-related businesses.
